Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to professional services provided by iEquity AI LLC (“iEquity”, “we”, “us”) to its clients (“you”). By engaging our services or completing a payment, you agree to the terms below. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Nature of our services
iEquity AI LLC provides software development, AI automation, technical consulting and separately scoped corporate-support services. Refund eligibility for these service engagements depends on the work completed when cancellation is requested. Purchases made through an app store follow that store’s refund process and the applicable product terms.
2. Cancellation by the client
You may request cancellation of an engagement at any time by written notice to [email protected]. The applicable refund is determined as follows:
- Before work begins: if you cancel before any work has started, you are eligible for a full refund of amounts paid, less any non-refundable third-party or government fees already incurred.
- After work has begun: if work has started, we refund amounts paid minus the value of work already performed and any third-party or government fees already incurred.
- After completion: a change-of-mind cancellation does not ordinarily entitle you to a refund for correctly completed services. Missing, defective or materially non-conforming work is reviewed for correction, redelivery or an appropriate refund; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
3. Non-refundable items
Deductions apply only to amounts actually incurred for your order, disclosed and agreed before they were committed, and non-recoverable from the supplier. We provide an itemized explanation. Examples, where separately included in the order, are:
- Government, state-registry, notary, and official filing fees.
- Third-party service charges (e.g. translation, courier, external providers).
- Work or deliverables that have already been completed and provided to you.
4. Cancellation by iEquity
We may decline or discontinue an engagement if we are unable to complete it for legal, compliance, or operational reasons, or if required documentation is not provided. In such cases, you will be refunded for any services paid for but not yet performed, less non-refundable items described above.
5. How refunds are issued
Approved card refunds are sent to the original card through the acquiring bank, in the original transaction currency, up to the amount paid. We do not redirect a card refund to another person, card or cash. If the original card has expired or closed, contact the issuing bank; any alternative procedure must be arranged through the banks. Refunds are typically submitted within 7–14 business days of approval. We email the amount, date and available reference. Posting time and any currency-conversion difference depend on your issuing bank. For non-card payments, refunds use the original payment method where possible.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund or cancellation, contact us in writing at [email protected] with your name, the service concerned, and the payment reference. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2–3 business days.
7. Practical cancellation and return procedure
For a partially completed fixed-price package, we calculate the earned amount from documented work and the allocation agreed in the order; we do not invent a retrospective cancellation fee. The refund is the amount paid less that earned amount and any separately approved, genuinely non-recoverable third-party cost, with no double counting. Our standard packages do not require third-party purchases.
For a booked session, contact us before the agreed start time to cancel or reschedule. Any preparation already completed is assessed under the same documented-work rule. There is no automatic no-show penalty. A replacement time is subject to availability and written confirmation.
Include your name, order/invoice number, payment date and amount, reason for the request and whether you seek cancellation, correction or a refund. We aim to acknowledge within 2–3 business days, review the scope and work completed, and send a written decision with the calculation or explain what further information is needed. Send only a transaction reference or masked receipt; never send full card details, CVV/CVC, PIN or one-time passwords.
There is no physical product to return. If an undelivered digital file or access link is the issue, we check delivery and arrange re-sending or another remedy. For a refunded license or digital deliverable, any agreed access cancellation is confirmed in writing. A duplicate settled payment is checked against our transaction records and the duplicate amount is refunded to the original method. You may also contact your card issuer about an unrecognized payment or dispute; this policy does not restrict that right.
